I've had a wonderful life in Broadcasting.
Starting at a High School FM Radio Station on Long Island in the '50s to Anchoring News for CNN - it's been a heck of a trip.
I've hosted AM New York and AM Los Angeles, played minor roles in Movies, and interviewed fascinating artists and newsmakers over the years. But, of all the things I've done, I miss Radio most of all. I still enjoy the music I played in those years - Sinatra, Ella, Basie, Goodman, Al Hibbler, Beverly Kenney, etc. - and would welcome a chance to do it all over again.
Alas, that kind of Radio is long gone. You can only find it by subscribing to XM Satellite Radio. Jonathan Schwartz is there - he's truly the last of the breed. DM
